The Sorrowful Mysteries Prayed on Tuesday

On Tuesday, the Rosary is prayed with the five Sorrowful Mysteries. These mysteries lead the faithful through the Passion and death of Jesus Christ, from His agony in the Garden of Gethsemane to His death upon the Cross.

The five Sorrowful Mysteries are:

Each decade draws the heart closer to Jesus in His suffering. The faithful are invited to pray slowly, remain with Him in each Gospel event, and ask for the grace of repentance, trust, patience, and love.
